Basic Criminal Practice: Everything but the Trial

About the Program: 
This program will provide the basics for representing clients in adult and/or juvenile criminal courts. It will cover the practical aspects of criminal defense, including arraignments, releases, prosecution, discovery, alternative dispositions, diversionary programs, forms, plea negotiations, client counseling, and ethical concerns. In addition, the course will provide a brief introduction to the special nature of criminal practice in juvenile court.
