About the Program
Student loan problems are becoming increasingly common and severe. The Wall Street Journal reports that student loan debt is higher than consumer credit card debt. The Department of Education also states that the default rate of federal loans is more than 30 percent. Couple these facts with the lack of bankruptcy protection and another financial crisis is eminent. This program gives basic information on the student loan industry, including who the players are and key differences between federal and private student loans. The main focus of this seminar is on the loan life cycle, including how loans fall into default, the consequences of default, and how to rescue loans from default. Once rescued, learn how to keep loans out of default and benefit from under-advertised programs. Best of all, what you learn here can be applied to your loans too!
