Courtroom Medicine: Addressing back and hip claims and the interplay between the two, including new technologies with case study analysis and procedure video

About the Program:
The medical presenters will address the latest in medical treatment and technology as they relate to the hip and the lower back. They will present case studies and differing views and options relating to prognosis, diagnosis, and treatment. A radiologist will cover the diagnostic issues involved in these types of claims and the epidemiology of these injuries will be discussed at some length. The Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Commission will discuss the new protocols. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion including all of the medical doctors and members of the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission.
