About the Program
This seminar will provide an overview of claims against brokers and agents and
the insurance policies that protect them. The panelists will discuss the
standard of care that should be exercised by brokers and agents and good
practices recognized by underwriters. They will also explore the causes of
action commonly asserted against brokers and agents, defenses and the measure
of damages. Finally the panelists will review the pitfalls and traps in
insurance forms that may fail to provide coverage for brokers and agents.
