and Employment Law Section held its first Labor and Employment Law
Conference on December 12 at the Farms Country Club. The programs'
line-up of exceptional speakers included Markus L. Penzel, a senior
trial attorney at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and
representatives from the National Labor Relations Board, including
Jonathan Kreisberg, a regional director in Boston, MA ,as well as top
lawyers in Connecticut.
A special luncheon presentation on the “US Supreme Court Update” was
lauded for being a well-organized and entertaining presentation. It was a
“can’t-miss” for any labor and employment law practitioner.
The day’s event concluded with a closing networking reception sponsored
by Marcum LLP.
The CBA’s expresses its deep gratitude to Nicole Bernabo, Labor and
Employment Law Section Chair, and all of the speakers at this year’s
