The CBA’s Labor and Employment Law Section held its first Labor and Employment Law Conference on December 12 at the Farms Country Club. The programs' line-up of exceptional speakers included Markus L. Penzel, a senior trial attorney at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and representatives from the National Labor Relations Board, including Jonathan Kreisberg, a regional director in Boston, MA ,as well as top lawyers in Connecticut. A special luncheon presentation on the “US Supreme Court Update” was lauded for being a well-organized and entertaining presentation. It was a “can’t-miss” for any labor and employment law practitioner. The day’s event concluded with a closing networking reception sponsored by Marcum LLP. The CBA’s expresses its deep gratitude to Nicole Bernabo, Labor and Employment Law Section Chair, and all of the speakers at this year’s Conference, for a successful program.
