About the Program:
A panel of experienced physicians will address: qualifications for joint replacement, including general criteria and objective findings supporting the need for total joint replacement; options and products available; anticipated recovery time following surgery and post-surgical rehab; work restrictions; and maximum medical improvement/permanent partial disability. The chair of the Workers’ Compensation Commission will discuss medical/legal issues including medical/legal guidelines, authorization for treatment, depositions, and formal hearings.
